Gastroenterology services expand at Highland District Hospital

Highland District Hospital is excited to announce the expansion of gastroenterology services to Highland Gastroenterology through physicians from Gastro Health.

Gastro Health is a Cincinnati-based GI group which leads GI departments within some of Cincinnati’s most distinguished and recognized hospitals and centers, including The Christ Hospital, Mercy Health Hospitals, Jewish Hospital and the Ohio Gastroenterology & Liver Institute.

Highland Gastroenterology, led by longstanding physician Dr. Vinayak Kulkarni, who has served Highland County for over 30 years, will be joined by board-certified specialist physicians Daniel Debo, DO, Andrew Chun, MD, and Robert Kindel, MD.

Recognized by Cincinnati Magazine’s Top Doctors program as experts in GI care, Gastro Health was identified as having more preferred doctors than any other GI practice in the tri-state area.

At Highland Gastroenterology, the expanded team will use the latest technologies to examine, diagnose and offer treatment of many disorders, including surgical options, within Highland District Hospital. A referral is required and can be obtained from a primary care physician.
