Hillsboro Police Report
The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Aug. 12-14.
August 12
Richard Tarr of Hillsboro was sitting stationary, facing northbound, at the intersection of North West Street and Fenner Avenue and Chariss Avenue. Tarr intended to turn westbound onto Chariss Avenue. Christopher Swayne of Manchester was behind Tarr. Ashley Merry of New Vienna was behind Swayne. The traffic light turned green, and Merry allegedly accelerated into the rear of Swayne. Due to the rear impact, Swayne was allegedly struck into Tarr. Ashley Merry of Hillsboro was cited for ACDA. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 13
Jason Browning, 37, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant and driving under suspension.
John Harlow, 39, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear on a bench warrant.
Aug. 14
Julie Sparks, 55, of Cincinnati was cited for speed.
On Aug. 14 at approximately 4:41 p.m., a Hillsboro Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of East Main Street. After further investigation, Eric Taber, 43, of Greenfield was charged with tampering with evidence and possession of drugs. Taber was arrested and transported to the Highland County Justice Center.
