U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) has applauded news that four schools in southwest Ohio have been designated as 2015 National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education (ED).

Lynchburg-Clay Elementary was awarded national honors Tuesday for their “exemplary achievement gap closing,” winning a National Blue Ribbon Schools Award.

Five members from the McClain FFA Chapter participated in the Barnyard Olympics at the Highland County Fair and won the event.

On Tuesday, Sept. 8, many members of the Hillsboro FFA chapter showed at the market barrow show during the Highland County Fair.

Hillsboro High School seniors Ryan Hagan and Bree Opst were crowned homecoming king and queen prior to the start of Friday night’s game.
