The Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs have played in six volleyball games thus far in 2023, where they have a record of 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.
Both the McClain varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams won the annual Spike & Dig tournament to open the 2023 season on Saturday, Aug. 19 held at Hillsboro High School.
For their fourth game of the 2023 season, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs went on the road for a non-conference game and defeated the host Minford Lady Falcons by a 3-1 score on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Thursday saw both the Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls soccer teams finish with a tied score, as the Lady Mustangs tied Western Brown by a 1-1 score, and the LCHS boys and WBHS boys each were scoreless in their tied match.
The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs began the 2023 boys golf season playing in two invitationals, including having Saxen Wilkin earn co-medalist honors at the Hillsboro Invitational.
The Southern Hills Athletic Conference will host the boys and girls soccer previews Saturday, Aug. 5 starting at 9 a.m. at Lynchburg-Clay. The volleyball preview will be held Friday, Aug. 11, beginning at 5 p.m., at Fayetteville.
