Winter weather advisory in effect

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Highland and surrounding counties for Nov. 10.
New snow accumulations up to 2 inches are possible in some areas.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
Forecast
Today – Snow showers, mainly before 1pm. High near 34. West wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tonight – A chance of snow showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. West wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Veterans Day – Partly sunny, with a high near 39. West wind 11 to 16 mph.
Tuesday Night – Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 32. Southwest wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 54. Southwest wind 15 to 18 mph.
Wednesday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.
Thursday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
Thursday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.
Friday – Partly sunny, with a high near 57.
Friday Night – A chance of rain after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
