Whiteoak Lady Wildcats scrimmage CNE

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats continued their preseason slate Saturday morning, as they hosted a scrimmage with the Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets at Whiteoak High School.

This season, WHS will have three seniors on their team, and return a majority of their lineup.

The early morning scrimmage came off the Lady 'Cats playing in the 2013-14 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Girls Basketball Preview at North Adams, where they lost a two-quarter game against the Lady Green Devils. The score following the two quarters was 36-18 in favor of NAHS.

[[In-content Ad]]WHS scored 11 of their 18 points in the second quarter of that preview contest.

Sophomore Emma Wardlow led WHS with nine points in the game, followed by Ashleigh Harless with three points. Emily Stratton, Jayde Parr and Amber Gorman each scored two points.

WHS will open the 2013-14 season on Nov. 23 at Paint Valley in the annual Lady 'Cats Classic.
