The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats won in convincing fashion on Wednesday, advancing to the sectional finals this weekend as they defeated Western Latham by a 6-0 score.

WHS, the No. 9 seed, won behind the pitching of Kiley Sosby, as the sophomore ace didn't allow a hit until the bottom of the seventh inning with one out as she pitched a one-hitter. Sosby also struck out 12 batters.
