The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats placed second in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference Cross-Country Championships, Saturday at Ripley.
WHS scored 60 points, while the champion of the conference, Manchester, totaled a low-score of 29 points.
In third was Eastern (86), and they were followed by Lynchburg-Clay (98), Ripley (100) and Fayetteville (108).

Morgan Thompson of WHS was their highest finisher in sixth place at 22:33.
Also in the Top 20 for WHS were Taylor Tackett in 11th at 23:04, Ashleigh Harless in 16th (24:09) and Maggie Carr in 17th (24:16).
Regan Bohrer was 22nd at 26:02, and in 24th was Courtney Cummings at 26:38.
