Lady 'Cats fall to Piketon

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats hosted Piketon Saturday afternoon, falling by a 4-1 score at WHS. 

The lone run by WHS came in the bottom of the fifth inning, as the Lady 'Cats were trailing 4-0 at the time. 

Ashleigh Harless was the runner for WHS who crossed home plate in the inning. 

The loss in the circle went to Kiley Sosby. The junior ace allowed four runs (two earned) in seven innings pitched. 

Sosby finished with 12 strikeouts, striking out the side in the second and sixth innings. 

WHS committed four errors.
