Quashane R. Varner Jr., 28, of Akron, was sentenced recently to 11 years and four months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine in the Southern District of West Virginia.

Thomas H. Hissong, 58, of Akron, was sentenced recently to 12 months and a day in prison by U.S. District Solomon Oliver, Jr. after Hissong pleaded guilty to a five-count indictment that charged him with wire fraud.
