McClain netters fall to Lady Astros

The McClain Lady Tigers volleyball team lost to visiting East Clinton 3 games to 2, in a hard-fought battle last Monday night.
    “This was a tough loss for us and I think we just got tired,” said McClain coach Emma Gall.
    “I thought we played well as a team, but our communication was down a little bit tonight, which really hurt us and we need to work on our coverage, but we’ll get there.”
    Megan Saylor had 12 kills and 7 digs for McClain and Kelsey Davis had 17 assists in the game.
    Taylor Delph also played well with 11 digs and 6 kills followed by Jenna Perie with 9 digs and 6 kills.[[In-content Ad]]
