Wilmington College's Faith Duncan continued her historical 2024 season Monday afternoon, as she was named the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Runner of the Week for the fourth time.
She won the JennaStrong Fall Classic 5K Friday afternoon in dominant fashion at the Wilmington College Cross Country Course. This was her fifth win of the season in five races.
Duncan (Lebanon HS/Lebanon, Ohio) won the race in a time of 16:42.6, which is a new course record. She bested her nearest competitor, Madison Stonestreet of Berea College, by almost one minute and 50 seconds, as she finished in 18:32.1. It was an amazing performance from the start, as Duncan already held a 10-second lead over Stonestreet just 800 meters into the race.
The Quakers will be back in competition Saturday, Nov. 2 at the OAC Championships at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin.
