Hillsboro Christian Academy teams square off against Adams County Christian

The Hillsboro Christian Academy varsity boys basketball team earned their second win of the season Tuesday, Dec. 14, defeating Adams County Christian School, 58-45.


The victory places the team at 2-0 for the season. The leading scorer of the game was Jake Mosley with 20, followed by Morgan Bailey with 14 and Devin Russell with 13. The team's coach is Nichael Swearingen.

The varsity girls team was defeated Tuesday night by Adams County Christian School, losing 81-23. The leading scorer for the girls was Bailee Harmon with 9. Olivia Wolford followed with 6, and April Aber and Ellen Cluxton finished with 4 each. The team is coached by Gary Aber.

The boys team will play Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. at Marshall School Gym.
