Hillsboro Christian Academy plays Ross County Christian Academy in historic Hoosier Gym

KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – The 2024-25 basketball season kicked off for Hillsboro Christian Academy in Knightstown, Ind. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the historic Hoosier Gym, home of the 1952 state champion Hickory Huskers and featured in the 1986 movie "Hoosiers."
Ross County Christian Academy played host to Hillsboro Christian Academy in back-to-back varsity matches.
The Lady Crusaders defeated the Lady Eagles, 59-29. The Eagles beat the Crusaders, 69-48.
After the game, Hillsboro Christian Academy added their jersey to the collection of other jerseys from various other schools, including Whiteoak High School and North Adams High School in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.
Ross County Christian Academy announced plans to make this an annual event and hopes to see the Crusaders return with them for more games at the historic gym.
The museum and gym staff were gracious hosts. Hillsboro Christian Academy thanks them and Ross County Christian Academy for a wonderful experience.
