Wright State's Cierra Lively was named the Horizon League Women's Athlete of the Week as the conference office announced its weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon.

Lively set an outdoor school record in the high jump at last Saturday's Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open hosted by Cedarville. She placed second out of 23 competitors in the event with a clearance of 1.63 meters, the highest mark in the Horizon League this season.

The sophomore bested the previous school record mark of 1.60 meters, which was last set in 2015 by Kalyn Daniels.

The Hillsboro, Ohio native currently ranks 81st in the high jump in the NCAA East Region qualifying list and will compete again on Saturday, April 1, at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by Cincinnati.
