McClain golf hosts annual Adam Sharp Invitational

The McClain boys and girls golf teams hosted and competed at the annual Adam Sharp Invitational on Thursday, July 31 at Buckeye Hills Country Club in Greenfield.

In the event, the McClain boys golf team finished in fifth place. The McClain girls also competed with a ninth place finish.

Individual scores for the MHS boys teams included Connor Chandler and Carter Nelson with scores of 40 each, and teammate Carson Chandler had a score of 43. The Tigers boys team also had a 52 score from Zander Lyons and a score of 56 by Noah Switzer.

The Lady Tigers saw Kaylin Sterling score a 38 in the event, followed by Autumn Uhrig with a 61 score. Emma Marsh finished with a score of 62, followed by Sarah Kegley at 65 and Maguire Ross at 73.
