McClain girls golf wins on senior night against Fairfield

The McClain girls golf team honored its nine senior golfers prior to hosting a dual match with Fairfield High School at Buckeye Hills on Wednesday. McClain also recognized senior boys golfer Carson Chandler.

After the ceremony, many of the senior golfers participated in an intrasquad Senior Scramble. McClain won the dual match with Fairfield, 231-235. McClain senior Kaylin Sterling was the match individual medalist, carding a 41. 

Scores for the dual match included for McClain: Kaylin Sterling (41), Laycee Watson (60), Autumn Uhrig (63), Lyla Chamblin (67), Joanie Shrout (69) and Audrey Giffin (70).

Fairfield's scores were: Kelsie Crowder (44), Bristol Williams (61), McKenna Self (65), Cameron Van Dyke (65) and Eloise Roehm (68).
