McClain girls golf 2nd in quad event

The McClain Lady Tigers played against host Zane Trace, Unioto and Washington on Monday, Aug. 26 at the Jaycees Golf Course, where MHS was second place overall.

Zane Trace won with a score of 206, followed by McClain in second place at 222, Unioto in third place at 223 and Washington in fourth with a score of 258.

For McClain, Kaylin Sterling carded a 48 for the top score of the Lady Tigers, followed next by Hailey Cornett, Avery Murphy and Abbie Lovett, each with a score of 58.

MHS also had a score of 61 from Kallie Posey, and scoring 62 each were Reese Roble and Emma Marsh.

The match medalist was Zane Trace’s Rosella Lattavo with a score of 36.
