Lions golf second in SHAC tri-match at Buckeye Hills

The Fairfield Lions boys golf team competed in a Southern Hills Athletic Conference tri-match on Monday (Aug. 17) at Buckeye Hills Country Club where they placed second overall. 

The three-team, 9-hole event was won by West Union with a score of 172, followed by Fairfield at 174 and Manchester was third with a team score of 181. 

Scores for the Lions included: junior Brayden Palmer (40), sophomore Luke Rigdon (47), junior Bryce Young (47), junior Kenton Butt (47), senior Carson Inman (51), and Colton McChesney (60).

The Lions are now 3-1 overall this season.
