Three Arts Club holds March meeting

The March 8 meeting of the Lynchburg Three Arts Club was held at the home of Nancy Lippert. In the absence of the president, vice president Cathy Farcus opened the meeting by having Ellen Pennington and Doris Randolph read the club collect. The treasurer, Becky Davidson, and secretary, Carolyn Braley, gave their reports.
Roll call was answered by showing childhood pictures of ourselves. We were told to remember to bring a picture of ourselves in a formal for roll call next meeting. Our next meeting will be a dinner meeting at Ma and Pa's Restaurant in Allensburg. The book "Unlocked" by Karen Kingsbury will be reviewed at the may meeting by Beverly Cinnamon.
The meeting was adjourned to an enjoyable program by Becky Davidson, who showed us how she conducted her Lia Sophia jewelry parties. She passed out catalogues and had a lovely display of jewelry, which she passed around for us to try on and examine. She also explained the history of the company and how it started. We could order from her if we wished, but this was not an actual jewelry party, just a program. Of course, some of us could not resist ordering anyway.
The hostess served a delicious dessert course at a beautifully decorated table to Farcus, Davidson, Braley, Randolph, Pennington, Lippert, and Nancy Shaffer.
