Support Our Troops to prepare Christmas CarePacks

If you have a family member or friend who is serving overseas this holiday season, Support Our Troops of Highland County wants to make sure he or she gets one of their annual Christmas CarePacks. Please call as soon as possible with your loved one's deployment address available.

Donations of items to be sent in the Christmas CarePacks are also being accepted through Friday, Nov. 19. Acceptable items include, but are not limited to, non-perishable food items, such as pre-packaged snacks, hard candy and gum, canned chicken and tuna, and powdered drink packets; personal hygiene items, such as eye drops, sunscreen, and first aid items; and miscellaneous items such as dark socks, towels, books, and magazines.
