Steer tagging to be held Dec. 4

All market steers will be weighed, ear tagged with Highland County tags, and nose printed on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, 7–9 a.m., at the Union Stockyards in Hillsboro. All steers must be weighed, tagged and nose printed on that day, and THAT DAY ONLY. All market steers must be in possession and on feed by the Junior Fair members by Dec. 4. 

Exhibitors will need to know the birth date of their animals. For County Bred and Borne steers, you will also need to know the breeder’s name, address and phone number. Please have this information on a 3x5 card to turn in at tagging time. Tags will be $1.50 per animal for county only tags, or $5 per animal for State Fair tags.
