SSCC Respiratory Care Club sponsors Cystic Fibrosis walk

Aaron K. Saunders, president of the Southern State Community College Respiratory Care Club, has announced the club is sponsoring the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis 10K walk/run, and bringing it to Washington C.H. this year.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance. Nearly 90 cents of every dollar of foundation revenue goes to support vital CF research, medical and education programs.
The foundation was established in 1955, when children with CF were not expected to live long enough to attend elementary school. Due in large part to the Foundation's investment in innovative research and care, people with the disease are living into their 30s and beyond.
The club at SSCC is excited about helping the foundation and bringing the community together to support a great cause. With the community's help, the club can reach a greater amount of people.
