Mini-health fair and
living will checkup
The Morgan-Bodenhamer Senior Center (Highland County Senior Center), in partnership with Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley and HealthSource of Ohio, presented a mini-health fair on Thursday, Dec. 2.
Fasting and non-fasting cholesterol and glucose, blood pressure, height, weight and Body Mass Index screening was provided by HealthSource.
Free hearing tests were provided by Earzlink.
Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care (DPOA) information and assistance was provided by Hospice of Hope.
Christmas Bazaar Dec. 4
Don’t miss the annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Morgan-Bodenhamer Senior Center.
Hundreds of beautiful handmade items will be for sale, as well as candy, baked goods and seasonal decorations and gifts.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., featuring a variety of soups, salads and our famous baked steak sandwiches. There are still a few tables available, at $10 per table for members and $15 for non-members.
We will draw for a beautiful handmade quilt and a lift chair at the conclusion of the Bazaar on Saturday.

Pancake brunch with Santa
All the young and young at heart are cordially invited to the Morgan-Bodenhamer Senior Center for a gala Pancake Brunch with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The menu includes all-you-care-to eat pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus (don’t forget your Christmas list) in our “North Pole Room” beautifully decorated by Purdin’s Elves.
There will be free candy canes for the kids and lots of door prizes. Admission is $4 for children and adults.
This party is open to the whole community, so bring your friends, neighbors and grandkids.
