The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission's Second Round Highland County Caucus meeting will be held Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the commissioners office of the Administration Building, 114 Governor Foraker Place, Hillsboro.

The primary purpose of this meeting will be to discuss and review the county's existing and new projects in terms of whether they address priority development needs and then rank those projects eligible for Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) funding. Identification of potential Economic Development Administration (EDA) projects will also occur. Updated information will be presented on the status of the ARC and EDA programs, and the June 24 deadline for pre-applications will also be reviewed.

The meeting is open to the general public, local government officials and nonprofit organizations. Organizations with potential projects are encouraged to send a representative. Comments by attendees on regional or county projects/issues are encouraged.

For further information, contact John Hemmings at the OVRDC office in Waverly at (800) 223-7491 or (740) 947-2853.[[In-content Ad]]
