By
-
Wilmington, Ohio – On Saturday, November 28, Santa Claus will make a stop at the Foster J. Boyd, MD, Regional Cancer Center at 31 Farquhar Avenue (corner of Main Street and Farquhar) in Wilmington. Parents can bring their children to the cancer center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to visit with Santa.
The children will be able to sit on Santa’s lap and get their photos taken by April Swartzel of Sweet Life Photography, based in Waynesville. A portion of the proceeds from the photos will be donated back to the CMH Cancer Assistance Program (CAP). Photo packages start at $25.
The CAP fund provides emergency financial assistance to patients of the Boyd Cancer Center. The fund is used by financially challenged patients for medication purchases, co-pay assistance, transportation expenses and other treatment related needs.
Refreshments will be served. For more information contact Linda Gledhill at (937) 283-2273.
