Reservations being accepted for 'Maggie in Magic Land' at Magic Waters Theatre

The 29th summer season of live entertainment at Magic Waters Theatre, east of Hillsboro, will begin on June 10 when 'Maggie in Magic Land' takes to the stage at the rustic amphitheatre on Cave Road, midway between Hillsboro and Chillicothe , just off of U.S. 50.
Written by Janny Brizius, the play includes history and folk lore of the Cave Holler region where the theatre is located. Indeed, during the evening the audience will experience visits from the Shawnee, from Daniel Boone, Johnny Appleseed and even the infamous bandit, Bob McKimmie, all within a fantasy of a rambunctious little girl, Maggie.
It will be entertaining to all the children in the audience as well the as moms and dads and the grandparents who bring them to this family appropriate evening of fun.
The play also includes a full stage magic show by Boonie, the Magician.
Admission is: Adults - $7, children - $3.50, and senior citizens - $4.
Reservations are now being accepted for seating on the evenings of June 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25. All shows begin at 8 p.m., but come early for some additional pre-show magic by Boonie. Also plan to arrive an hour early if you order pre-show dinners.
