OAR to sponsor Property Management course

The Ohio Association of REALTORS® will sponsor "Property Management," April 6, at the Ohio Association of REALTORS®, 200 E. Town St., Columbus.

"Property Management" will focus on the license law requirements for property management, including accounts, license exemptions; advertising and social media; licensees' role in evictions; registration of residential rental property owner's contact information; Division of Unclaimed Funds; tenants in foreclosed property; and lead-based paint renovation requirements.

Additionally, a legislative portion including meth labs, bedbugs and IRS reporting requirements will be included.  

The courses will be instructed by Lorie Garland, J.D., OAR's Assistant Vice President of Legal Affairs.

The course has been approved for 3 hours of core law continuing education credit.
