The Edgewood Nursing Home in Greenfield invited members of the New Petersburg Social Civic Club to be guests for their November meeting.

President Debbie Robinson held a short business meeting. Wanda Greene had roll. Minutes of the October meeting were read and approved. Vickie Duff had the treasurer's report.

Chris Tolbert and Marian Dodds were invited to become members of the club.

Secret Sister gifts were received by Cora Hamilton, Phyllis Miller, Bea Mustard, Margaret Crabtree, and Robinson.

Edgewood Manor provided delicious refreshments. Donna Tolle led the group in bingo. Those who won prizes were Duff, Crabtree, Robinson, Mustard, Janet Lawwell, Glenna Ross, Malinda Wells, Greene, Verla Hodson, Hamilton, and Anna Lou Lucas. At the end of the afternoon, each club member was presented with a gift from the nursing home. Everyone had a good time and want to thank Edgewood Manor for their hospitality.

The next meeting will be held at noon at the Rainsboro United Methodist Church, with the men of the church serving the Christmas dinner. Secret Sisters for 2010 will be revealed, and a drawing will be held for Secret Sisters for 2011.

Members are reminded to bring globes or mittens and two gifts for the nursing home. Also, bring food for the pantry and Christmas napkins for the Christmas baskets.
