Mowrystown Lions Club delivers food to Bright Local Food Bank

Members of the Mowrystown Lions Club recently delivered 10-plus boxes of food to the Bright Local Food Bank located in Sugar Tree Ridge.  

The food was collected during the Lions Club food drive held Jan. 3-11.  

The Lions Club would like to thank all those that donated.  

Special thanks is given to Chuck Wait Tire, Mona Lisa's Restaurant, the Mowrystown Lions Club, and The Celtic Cottage (located in Sardinia) for allowing the placement of collection boxes in their businesses.

The Bright Local Food Pantry is open the third Saturday of each month and serves the families living in the Bright Local School District.
