Lynchburg Daisy Troop #2721 recently completed a community service project to help them earn their daisy petals.

They planted the flowers, donated by local businesses, as a thank-you to Lynchburg School for letting them use the school for their meetings.

They planted them during their May 17 meeting. It was cold and rainy, but they managed to get them all planted. They filled several barrels in the courtyard and the flowerbed in front of the school.

The flowers were donated by Dye Nursery in Lynchburg and Brad's Garden Center and Town & Country Greenhouse in Hillsboro.
