For several years, the Fall Festival of Leaves has not named a grand marshal; however, in honor of her 100th birthday and in recognition of all that she does for the Fall Festival of Leaves, June Gregg has been named grand marshal of the 2011 parade.

Only two founding members of the Fall Festival of Leaves are still living – June Gregg and Senior Citizen of the Year Thelma Stanley.

June will ride in a Cinderella carriage and, some say, will wave a wand and wear a tiara.

June is a local historian, who never ceases to amaze people with her ability to produce articles, photos and memories of local people and events. She continues to serve on the Festival Committee as publicity chairman, and can been seen throughout the festival week-end in the festival office, passing out literature and reminiscing with everyone who stops by for a chat.[[In-content Ad]]
