Johnson to serve as Marine Security Guard

     Marine Corps Cpl. Robert W. Johnson, Jr., son of Mary A. Holbrook of Beaver, Ohio and Robert W. Johnson, Sr. of Wellston, Ohio, recently graduated the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group in Quantico, Va.
     The Marine Security Guards provide security services to selected Department of the State Foreign Service posts to prevent the compromise of classified material and equipment and to provide protection for United States citizens and United States Government property.
     Each student has been assigned to one of many various embassies and consulates across the globe in over 130 countries in 13 different time zones around the world.
     Johnson is a 2006 graduate of Wellston High School of Wellston, Ohio and joined the Marine Corps in May 2006.
