Hillsboro Emblem Club holds March meeting

The Hillsboro Emblem Club met on March 8 with 12 members in attendance.

Member Christa Abbott’s granddaughter, Lauren Teague, submitted an application for a Supreme Scholarship and one for the Ohio State Association of Emblem Clubs and the West Virginia Club Scholarship.

Committee reports were given. A slate of officers was read, and elections will be held at the April meeting.    

Americanism chairman, Jan Vosper, read an article on the Pledge of Allegiance. Two thousand coupons were sent to the Army Base in Germany.

The third meeting of the Ohio State Association of Emblem Clubs and the West Virginia Club will be held in Toledo on April 9 and 10.   

The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. Anyone wishing to join the club may contact any Emblem Club Member for more information.
