HillJam MPact Run to be held Aug. 14

     The HillJam Mpact Run, a 5K/10K that benefits Mission Pact (MPACT), will be held Saturday, Aug. 14 at 6643 Ervin Rd., Hillsboro.
     Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting at 9 a.m.
     MPACT, a local nonprofit organization with a "mission to provide a cleaner tomorrow," has joined forces with World Vision to ensure that people lacking basic sanitation, both in the U.S. and overseas, are able to receive critically needed hygiene products.
