Highland Masonic Lodge No. 38 F&AM

Highland Masonic Lodge No. 38 F&AM in Hillsboro recognized six outstanding graduating seniors at our annual scholarship night on May 2.

Highland Lodge awarded each recipient with a new laptop pc and Office 365 subscription. This is a project which Highland Masonic Lodge has been sponsoring for approximately fifteen years.

This year's recipients were Hannah Holland, McKenzie Grimes, Addyson Miles, Carson Scott, Rylie Scott and Samantha Lee.

The scholarship committee is WB Rick Grant, WM Carol Jones, Brothers Robert Griffith and Philip Burchett.

Highland Lodge 38 has been active in Hillsboro since 1817, and currently has approximately 260 members.

Charity is an important tenet of the Masonic fraternity. The 90,000 Masons in Ohio provide approximately $15 million in charitable giving annually, including scholarships, support of the Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games, and free training for Ohio school teachers to recognize students at non-academic risk.
