Healthcare providers join Adena health center in Greenfield

As of the first of the new year, four healthcare providers who already are familiar faces in the Greenfield area will join the Adena Health System – working in the same community.
Dr. Richard Mizer, Dr. Christina DeLand and Nurse Practitioners Michele Dodds and Debra Wolf are leaving the HealthSource of Ohio office in Greenfield to partner with Adena.
Their new office is Adena Family Medicine – Greenfield, located at 536 Mirabeau Street in Greenfield. The office can be reached at 937-981-9444.
“These providers bring a wealth of experience with them and serve many, many patients from throughout the Greenfield area,” said Mary Beth Dever, System Director of Hospital/Physician Services at Adena.
The Greenfield Family Medicine office is the latest regional site to be expanded or opened by Adena. A few weeks ago, the new Adena Health Center – Washington Court House opened its doors.
Looking for volunteers at
the Adena Cancer Center
• Do you know someone interested in helping to make a difference in the lives of patients with cancer? If so, volunteers are needed in the boutique, inside the new Adena Cancer Center.
And there’s nothing to say couples can’t volunteer, said Cindy Drummond, Adena’s Director of Volunteer Services.
The center, located on the campus of the Adena Medical Center, officially opens this month and volunteers will help between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, she said.
To be eligible as a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and outgoing, dependable and friendly. Volunteers are asked to provide at least four hours a month.
