Ready or not, the Haunted Hills at Magic Waters opens Friday, Sept. 30, and will continue each Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening through Oct. 30.
The gates open at 7 p.m. each night. The trails open at dark. While waiting, there is magic and ghost stories around the campfire by Boonie the Magician.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, it will remain open until 11 p.m. On Sunday evenings. it closes at 10 p.m.
Haunted Hills is located in the woods behind Magic Waters Theatre. Though probably the oldest Halloween entity around, it is always new, as the= Haunted Hills folks every year work for months creating new scares and fun for their visitors.
This is a respectful, fun event for families, teens, and youth groups alike.
Regular admission prices are: Adult, $7; Children $4. For groups of 20 or more people, groups rates may be arranged ahead of time.
New this year, visitors who purchase tickets by 8:30 p.m. on Friday evenings, will receive discounted admission.
On Saturdays, ask about the family rates and on Sundays, buy one adult ticket and get a second ticket at half price.
Haunted Hills is at Magic Waters Theatre, on Cave Road, four miles west of Bainbridge, and 1/2 way between Hillsboro and Chillicothe off of U.S. 50.
