Harvested Here Festival to be held in Hillsboro Aug. 24
The Harvested Here Festival, a lively celebration of local farmers, will be held Aug. 24 from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. at Governor Trimble Place in Hillsboro.
The event is sponsored in part by the Hillsboro Eagles FOE 1161 and the Farm to Bottle Foundation.
The festival is supporting small farms of Highland County and surrounding areas. Come and celebrate the best fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, maple syrup, distilled spirits and more from small farms/businesses in Highland County and across Ohio. The festival features the top local growers and producers and offers a diverse range of farm-focused products from local growers and producers.
The festival will feature a tasting room where you can sample distilled spirits, wines and beers from local producers, as well as a farmers’ market.
In addition to all the great vendors, the festival will include a musical entertainment from local acts to regional and national acts performing an array of classic, modern and southern rock. The lineup includes Dirty Deeds, an extreme AC/DC tribute; Skinny Molly, featuring Mike Estes, formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd; Missing November; AR6; Sick Serenity; and Charlie Bonnett III.
Other attractions will include a cruise-in, kids zone and more.
There’s something for everyone. This festival is the perfect place to discover new food, locally crafted products and enjoy some of your favorite music and bands.
