Hakes celebrate 50 years

Marvin and Pat Hakes of HIllsboro are celebrating 50 years of marriage. The couple was united in marriage at the Hillsboro Church of Christ on July 29, 1960. They were married by the late Dr. Paul Jones. 
The couple has two children, David Scott (Jill) of New Richmond, Ohio, and Andrew Dean of Oldsmar, Fla. They have two grandsons, Matthew Dean and Daniel William. In celebration, the Hakes family cordially extends and invitation to join them for an open house honoring their 50 years of marriage on Saturday, July 31 from 2-5 p.m. at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church, Robison Hall, 133 E. Walnut Street. Your attendance is the only gift requested.
