November came in like a lamb... Oh, no, wrong month. November is the month for turkeys, pumpkin pie, and much thankfulness. We here at the library are very thankful that we were able to serve our community for another year. It has been a very fast moving year and we have had many great happenings. Some of the very best things were meeting new friends and helping meet some of our community's needs. Thank you to our patrons, our staff, our board, and our library leaders for a good year! Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving!

BOOK SALE We will continue our fall book sale for another week.
NOV. 23 Dawna Jo Kiesling, from the Highland County Extension Office, will be with us from 3 5, sharing great ideas & recipes for cost saving and nutrition.
NOV. 25 the Library will be closed for THANKSGIVING and will also close at 4 p.m. on November 24.
DEC. 2 - 11 a.m. 12 Noon - STROKE SUPPORT GROUP - this group is for stroke survivors, caregivers, or families of stroke victims. It will be the 1st Thursday of each month and is presented by the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
Our Christmas Reading Club has 2 weeks left. Children, age 3 grade 6, may sign up. When they sign up, they will receive a book bag, and a restaurant coupon. They then check out and read books. For each five books read, they will receive $1 in Merry Money. They will be able to read and count the books till Dec. 1. Merry Money must be picked up by Dec. 1.
On Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 2 p.m., we will have our Library Christmas Shop. Children who have been reading and earning Merry Money will be able to spend their money to purchase gifts for all those on their shopping list. It's lots of fun and the children get practice on their reading & math skills and earn the gifts they give.
DEC. 6 8:30 a.m. 12 Noon the Highland County Commissioners will be in Greenfield to hold their regular meeting. It will be held in the community room of the Library.
DECEMBER 15 5 p.m. BOOKWORMS Our adult book discussion group meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday. The book chosen for this month is your choice of a Christmas Book. Stop in and pick up a copy and join us. Everyone welcome.
