Coats For Christ campaign under way
Pictured are Kristy Williams from Got Forgiveness, Brad Greene from Brad's Garden Center, and Michael Ballentine executive director of the Highland County Homeless Shelter. They are at W&W cleaners, owned by Ben Snodgrass, which is where you can bring your extra unblemished coats too and they will be cleaned for free until Nov. 9. Then, the coats will be
taken and distributed to needy families who come to Brad's Garden Center on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 1-3 p.m. Both Brad and Kristy want to thank Mike and everyone at the Highland County Homeless Shelter for kicking off the event by donating over 80 coats to the Coats For Christ campaign. Last year, Coats For Christ was able to distribute over 200 coats to needy families, this year, with your help they hope to double that number to 400.
