Annual Senior Expo set for May 17

Senior Expo coming up May 17
Join us Tuesday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for the annual Senior Citizens Day Celebration and Expo.
Once again, we are partnering with Clear Channel Buckeye Country to put on the biggest and best event ever.
The Expo is free and open to the public.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and features our famous steak sandwiches as well as a variety of soups, salads, sides and desserts.
There will be exhibitors showcasing services and products targeted to older adults, free health screenings, informational presentations, entertainment, door prizes and lots of “freebies.”
As a grand finale, we will name the 2011 Outstanding Highland County Senior Citizen.
The Expo will be broadcast live and it promises to be a really exciting day – don’t miss it!
AARP Driver Safety Program
There is still space available for the AARP Driver Safety Program at the Senior Center on Thursday, May 19 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
This program is specially designed for drivers age 50 and older.
Many auto insurance companies offer a discount for those who complete the course. Cost is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members.
