Papa John’s celebrates grand opening with ribbon cutting

Papa John’s, located in uptown Hillsboro, celebrated their official grand opening with the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends and members of the community, on Oct. 3.
Papa John’s, at 223 N. High St. in Hillsboro, is owned and operated by James Phelps and his family.
The Phelps family started this project in August 2022, and its completion marks their third Papa John's location. Papa John’s has a wide variety of pizzas, breadsticks, wings, Papadias and desserts available for carryout or delivery. They are open Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to midnight.
“Thanks to the community for the incredible welcoming we have received over the past couple days,” said James Phelps, owner of Papa John’s. “In my 25 years with the Papa John’s brand, I’ve never witnessed a grand opening week of this magnitude.”
Phelps would also like to thank the community, local businesses, his team and his family for their support in opening the new location.
