Congressman Dr. Wenstrup quick to respond to traffic accident
To the editor:
I would like to brag on Second District Congressman Brad Wenstrup. On the afternoon of Friday, March 29, there was a two-car motor vehicle crash on U.S. 50 and Hill Road, near my house.
I'm a volunteer firefighter with Paint Creek EMS/Fire District. I recognized Rep. Wenstrup as the "doctor on scene," as was described by the HCSO dispatch office. It is so warming and proud for me to have a U.S. representative who takes initiative and feels obligated to help and serve others in need.
Just like he saved Rep. Scalise's life several years ago.
I would like to have Rep. Wenstrup's actions published in The Highland County Press. No one was transported to a medical facility from the motor vehicle crash. But Colonel and Dr. Wenstrup was there, willing to provide life-saving services for fellow citizens. I'm sad to see him move on from the U.S. House of Representatives. But I'm also glad he's not a career politician.
Sincerely,
Matthew Hillger
Hillsboro
Dr. Wenstrup has a knack for this
In addition to those incidents referenced, Dr. Brad Wenstrup also administered aid after a train and truck collision in West Virginia in 2018. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=fv8pdEllo6M
Rep. Wenstrup will be missed in Ohio's Second District.
