Willis Bishop Martin, 86, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Friday, Feb. 23, 1923 in Bourbon County, Ky., the son of the late Keller Martin and the late Lillie Bishop Martin.
He was a member of Boston Terrier Club of Cincinnati, Clinton County Antique Car Club, former employee of Hillsboro Transportation, and was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church..
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Martin, of Hillsboro; and two sons, Larry (Paulette) Martin of Hillsboro and Clarence Martin of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Butcher of Apopka, Fla., and Pauline Pennington of Hillsboro; one brother, Harold (Wanda) Martin of Hob Sound, Fla., and a sister-in-law, Ina Martin of Owingsville, Ky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Bobby Joe Martin; and three brothers, Keller Martin Jr., Asa Martin, and Sam Martin.
Friends will be received 5-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Hunsaker officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fincastle Cemetery.
