William P. 'Bill' Bell, Sr.

William P. “Bill” Bell, Sr., 69, of Germantown, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Sycamore Hospital.
He was born in Hillsboro on Aug. 7, 1942, to the late Harold D., and Helen (Currant) Bell.
He retired from Chrysler Air-Temp in 1995 after 33 years of service.
He was a member of Carpenter House Baptist Church, Millennium Masonic Lodge #779, F. & A.M. and the NRA. He was an avid gun collector and enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carol Ann Bell; and a brother, Theodore Bell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn F. (Foulk) Bell; his son and daughter-in-law, William P. “Bill” Bell, Jr. and Diana Bell of Walterboro, S.C.; his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Joe Zertuche of Dayton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Walter (Carolyn) Bell of Akron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call, 2-5 p.m., Sunday, July 22, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 and Weaver Road, Germantown, where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, with Pastor Steve Carney officiating.
Burial will be at New Antioch Cemetery, Wilmington.
