Wanda M. Ludwick, 81, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Greene Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Bob Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.

Wanda Mae Ludwick, 81, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia.
She was born June 30, 1930 near Leesburg, the daughter of the late Charles and Ecka Audrey (Trout) Igo.
She had been employed by the Highland County Sheriff’s Office for many years as a jail matron and cook, and in August 1960 had the distinction of disarming a female inmate who had concealed and conveyed a revolver into the old Highland County Jail.
She was also employed as a cafeteria helper at the old Webster School building. She was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ, a 40-year member of the Hillsboro Chapter #441 Order of the Eastern Star, and a life member of the VFW Post 9094 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Ludwick, whom she married on Jan. 20, 1973; and a son, Terry Ausmun, and his wife, Sherry, of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dick Ausmun, who passed away Aug. 14, 1970; one brother, Harold Igo; and three sisters, Verla Elton, Lois Price and Helen Dillon.
