Vivien Marguerite Rembis (née Hagemeyer), 99, of Mt. Orab, passed away April 10, 2012 in Mt. Orab.

She was born May 27, 1912 in Warren County, the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Hagemeyer.

She was a retired school teacher from the Bright Local School District. She had been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Highland County Retired Teachers.

She is survived by a son, Mark L. Rembis of Mt. Orab; a daughter, Debbie Rembis of Mt. Orab; a brother, Maynard Hagemeyer of Clarksville; grandsons Nicholas Rembis of Mt. Orab, Travis Rembis of Covington, Ky. and Erich Stemmerding of San Antonio; granddaughters Stephanie Vickery of Georgia and Michelle Chisman of Mount Orab; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Rembis; a son, Gary L. Rembis; and her sister, Gertrude McGraw.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Egbert Funeral Home in Mt. Orab with Pastor Ken Barr officiating. Burial will take place in the Buford Cemetery. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 13 at the funeral home.
