Victor Glenn Aber, 85, of Lynchburg died Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He was born June 4, 1926 in Clinton County, near Lynchburg, the son of the late Clarence and Jennie Gertrude Pfister Aber.

Mr. Aber was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW Post 9094.

He is survived by one sister, Faith Jones of Blanchester; three nieces; one nephew; and a sister-in-law, Betty Aber of Barnesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Milan and Freddie Aber.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. The Rev. Harold Braley will officiate. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.

Memorials may be made to the Highland County Homeless Shelter, 145 Homestead Avenue, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
